Just one month until the Twin Oaks Queer Gathering!

Twin Oaks Queer Gathering is one month away, and we're hoping to see you the weekend of Sept 12-14! Please pre-register if you can. It's not required, but it really helps us with food purchasing and other planning. And remind your friends to register too!

Have you considered leading a workshop? Check out this list of a few past workshops for inspiration! Workshops are up to 90 minutes long, and can be as structured or as informal as you like, on just about any topic you want to teach, discuss, or collaborate on. Interested? Submit a proposal. We’ll probably say yes!

Food: Our delicious meals will once again be prepared by the legendary Tigger! We’ll have vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options, but if you have other dietary needs, please give us a heads up at [email protected] so we can be prepared to feed you well.

Transportation: Need help getting here? You can find directions and a carpool link at https://twinoaksqueergathering.org/transportation/. We also have funds set aside to help those for whom travel costs would be a hardship! Priority for travel stipends will be given to BIPOC/PGM and trans applicants.

Important note: We require everyone to show a negative covid test taken within 48 hours prior to arrival. Covid tests can be purchased on-site.

What is the Queer Gathering? It’s a fun and supportive camping event for queer folks and allies of all ages to come together, skillshare, make art, build community, dance, and organize. It's hosted by Twin Oaks Community in rural central Virginia. Join us in the woods for a weekend of queertranstastic fun, learning, workshops, networking, revelry, and more!
